Sulphate-free shampoos like this can behave quite differently from traditional formulas, and it's common for users to expect the same bubbly later they're used to.

Interestingly, we often recommend a less-is-more approach when applying our shampoo. Sometimes using too much product can overwhelm the hair and reduce lather, especially if there's not enough water included. Instead, we suggest starting with 3-4 pumps, emulsifying the product between your hands first and ensuring plenty of water is incorporated to help activate the gentle foaming agents. Adding water is key - not just to rinse, but to emulsify and build the lather as you go.

For best results, we recommend applying the shampoo in sections:

1. Start by massaging a small amount around the edges of your hairline (temples, nape, and forehead).
2. Work the product into the crown area, then gently down through the lengths and ends (if necessary).
3. Continue to add a splash of water if needed, you'll likely find the lather builds more easily this way.

If you find your hair has a lot of buildup or natural oils, a second light cleanse may also help increase the lather and leave your scalp feeling extra refreshed.
