Start your curl routine on wet hair for best slip, hydration, and definition.
Begin with the cleansing step. Take a generous amount and apply directly onto the scalp, focusing on the roots rather than the lengths. Massage gently with your fingertips for a couple of minutes to lift away dirt, oil, and product buildup. Rinse thoroughly and allow the lather to naturally run through the mid-lengths and ends. If your scalp or hair needs a deeper refresh, repeat the shampoo step, as the second wash typically produces a richer foam.
Follow with the conditioner, applying it generously on wet hair, concentrating on mid-lengths and ends. Detangle gently starting from the tips and gradually working upwards toward the roots to minimise breakage. Leave it on for a few minutes while you continue your shower routine, then rinse thoroughly. For extra slip and hydration, it can also be used as a pre-shampoo detangler before cleansing.
On soaking wet hair, apply your leave-in product. Distribute a small amount evenly from roots to ends, adding more only if needed. Ensure strands feel lightly coated and slippery. Scrunch upwards to enhance curl formation, definition, and natural bounce.
Finish with the styling gel, applying evenly through very wet curls. Rake through to distribute, then scrunch to encourage shape and definition. This step helps lock in moisture, control frizz, and extend style longevity while keeping curls soft and flexible.
For best results, always allow curls to air dry or diffuse without disturbing the pattern.
